U-haul To Customer: Get it yourself

I can not believe the guts that some service people have. We were renting a trailer from Uck haul (u-haul). We set up our rental two months ago and were calling to confirm and we got the rudest person to deal with.

Mistake no. 1
- He tried to charge us 33% more than the price we had reserved the trailer at - We came to eventually find out that prices had increased in the months following our reservation - He was not willing to honor our original agreement.

Mistake no. 2
- This gentleman proceeded to tell us that we would need to go wherever the trailer was an pick it up ourselves - He confirmed that if the trailer was 3 states away we would need to go there and pick it up - Maybe it's just me, but If you request a trailer from a specific location and they say they can do it then you would expect to pick it up at that location - is that unreasonable?

Mistake no. 3
- When the national and regional corporate offices were called, no one offered to follow up or even apologized for the lousy service and rude attitude we received. You would think that if they cared about their company, they would want to do something about this.

I do not recommend working with uck-haul (U-haul).

My goal with this blog is to let you know what businesses do a good job with customer service and what ones just suck when it comes to customer service.

One thing that makes me really mad and can kill a business really fast is bad customer service. So here we go - the good, the bad, and the ugly of customer service...
